Sunrise at the Santa Luzia Viewpoint
When we pass the train tracks and the Tagus welcomes us surrounded by a balcony with magnificent tile panels, we know that we are at the Miradouro de Santa Luzia. From here we can see the sun rise through the mazes of the Alfama streets, illuminating the water feature that make up this space. A poetic dawn that leaves us, simultaneously, a sensation of freshness and nostalgia.
Breakfast sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon
After contemplating a magnificent view of Lisbon, there is nothing like tasting its gastronomic delights. Because the a great day is when we sit down and enjoy a traditional custard tart, our second stop is at the Manteigaria, at the Largo do Camões. In this small and popular spot we can find what are considered by many to be the best pastéis de nata in Lisbon !
Morning walk along the Tagus
What better way is there to feel the river breeze than on a bike ride? We meet at Cais do Sodré, where the Tagus is already waiting to ride along with us in the morning. Along the way we come across museums such as the National Museum of Ancient Art, the Museu do Oriente and the MAAT. Upon arrival in Belém, we are invited to stroll through the gardens and admire imposing monuments, such as the Jerónimos Monastery, the Padrão dos Descobrimentos and the Torre de Belém.

Traditional or with a modern twist, flaked, with cream and spinach, grilled or in fritters, portuguese cod is full of flavor and, preferably, drizzled with a little olive oil.
